About the Company
Your new company is based in the Mount Isa, Cloncurry region and is a fully functioning underground mining and processing operation.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Process Operator to join their team on an 8/6 roster DIDO from Mount Isa or FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane. Accommodation and meals are provided during roster period.
Key Responsibilities
- Operation of front‑end loaders within the ROM and processing areas
- Managing ROM and product stockpiles
- Feeding crushers to maintain consistent plant throughput
- Conducting pre‑start checks and reporting equipment or operational issues
- Working in accordance with site safety, operating, and environmental procedures
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Hold a current RII Loader Ticket relevant to large mining or quarry front ‑ end loader operations, Excavator and Heavy Rigid also essential
- Possess a current C Class Driver Licence
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience operating loaders in a ROM, processing, crushing, or materials handling environment
- Demonstrated experience working safely in a processing or crushing plant environment, including:
- Feeding crushers or hoppers
- Managing ROM and product stockpiles
- Maintaining consistent feed rates and adhering to plant requirements
- Strong understanding of processing plant safety procedures
