Your new company is based in the Mount Isa, Cloncurry region and is a fully functioning underground mining and processing operation.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Process Operator to join their team on an 8/6 roster DIDO from Mount Isa or FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane. Accommodation and meals are provided during roster period.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation of front‑end loaders within the ROM and processing areas
• Managing ROM and product stockpiles
• Feeding crushers to maintain consistent plant throughput
• Conducting pre‑start checks and reporting equipment or operational issues
• Working in accordance with site safety, operating, and environmental procedures

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Hold a current RII Loader Ticket relevant to large mining or quarry front ‑ end loader operations, Excavator and Heavy Rigid also essential
• Possess a current C Class Driver Licence
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience operating loaders in a ROM, processing, crushing, or materials handling environment
• Demonstrated experience working safely in a processing or crushing plant environment, including:
  • Feeding crushers or hoppers
  • Managing ROM and product stockpiles
  • Maintaining consistent feed rates and adhering to plant requirements
• Strong understanding of processing plant safety procedures
