Road Train Operator

Stellar has partnered with a leading mining subcontractor to recruit experienced Road Train Operators for ongoing opportunities at a major gold mining operation.

Working a 2:1 FIFO roster with 12-hour days, you’ll be part of a busy site haulage operation, operating multi-combination road trains across both on and off-road environments. The role will see you working with triples and quads, side tipping on the run and self-loading equipment, supporting the safe and efficient movement of material across site.

This is a great opportunity to join an established mining operation with consistent work and long-term opportunities available for experienced operators.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 2 years relevant Road Train Operator experience.
• Proven experience operating triples or quads.
• Strong on-road and off-road operating experience.
• 18-speed Road Ranger manual experience required - no auto-only operators.
• Experience side tipping on the run.
• Self-loading experience using Loadrite with CAT 980+ and/or Komatsu WA500+ loaders.
• Previous haulage experience with commodities such as iron ore, gold and/or copper.
• Valid heavy vehicle licence, full Australian working rights and ability to complete pre-employment requirements.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively in a site-based mining environment.
