Rigging Supervisor – Bridge Construction
Commencement 30th of April
2:1 Roster until Early June
$90/Hr - $110/Hr + Super (Pending Experience)
Our client is a leading construction company within the rail, mining, civil engineering and marine industry. We are currently seeking a Rigging Supervisors to assist on an upcoming shutdown, completing 3 swings with the company.
About the Role
This role will see you leading a crew of 15 – 20 people on complex structural and crane operations within major bridge construction project at a Rio Tinto Site.
- Supervise and coordinate a rigging crew of 15-20 people
- Plan and execute lifting operations involving cranes, hoists, and specialized rigging equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings, lift plans, and project specifications
- Ensure all rigging activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and site procedures
- Conduct pre-start meetings and update risk assessments when required
- Monitor crane operations and ensure proper load handling techniques are followed
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Inspect rigging gear and ensure maintenance and certification compliance
Roster Dates:
- Thursday, 30/04/2026 – Wednesday, 06/05/2026
- Sunday, 10/05/2026 – Thursday, 21/05/2026
- Wednesday, 27/05/2026 – Thursday, 04/06/2026
Requirements:
- S26 Qualification
- RTIO Inducted & RTIO Supervised Worker Qualification
- Construction White Card
- Solid experience with structural works and crane/rigging activities
