About the Role

Downer's Energy & Utilities has opportunities for casual Riggers to join our outage team at Mt Piper Power Station. You will provide your expertise within an outage environment supporting refurbishment and maintenance activities on cooling tower infrastructure. This will include working collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople, and project teams as well as general labouring tasks. This is a casual role, and successful candidates will join our casual pool for ongoing work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise within an outage environment supporting refurbishment and maintenance on cooling tower infrastructure.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople and project teams.
• Perform general labouring tasks as required.
• Contribute to safety and Zero Harm culture.

About You / Requirements

• HRWL – RB/RI/RA
• Drivers Licence
• White Card / Construction Induction
• Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces
• Gas Test Atmospheres (Desirable)
• Advances Confined Space Entry (Desirable)
• Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment

Qualifications & Certifications

• HRWL – RB/RI/RA
• Drivers Licence
• White Card / Construction Induction
• Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces
