Job Description

Join a leading resources operator delivering world-class iron ore projects across Western Australia. We’re seeking an experienced Rig Geologist to support drilling programs and provide high-quality geological data to drive operational success.
Roster: 8:6
Duration: 6 months
Location: Pilbara

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise RC and/or diamond drilling programs on site
  • Log geological samples (lithology, structure, mineralisation) accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure sampling procedures meet QA/QC and company standards
  • Coordinate drill rig activities with contractors and site teams
  • Maintain daily drilling reports and database integrity
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all field activities

About You

  • Proven experience in iron ore exploration or resource development
  • Strong logging experience across RC and/or diamond drilling
  • Sound understanding of WA geology and mineral systems
  • Confident working in remote FIFO environments
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Relevant geology degree (or equivalent)
