About the Role

Under the surface electrical supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique and motivating environment. Your main functions will:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.
• Perform maintenance, calibrations, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment, such as motor control centres (4160/600/240/120 V), variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, measuring instruments (level, flow, pressure, density, analysis, etc.) and control valves.
• Contribute to the improvement and optimisation of different systems to increase production performance and equipment reliability, in addition to ensuring standardisation and improvement of safety and working conditions.
• Apply various procedures to achieve the highest levels of health and safety and environmental protection.

Profile Sought

• DEC in Electrical Engineering Technology – Automation and Control, with three (3) years of experience in instrumentation and PLC programming.
• Relevant experience in maintenance in electric production and distribution.
• Possess a certificate of electrical competence (Licence C).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Functional knowledge of English is an asset.
