About the Role

Are you passionate about technology, problem-solving, and supporting cutting-edge digital solutions in construction? We’re looking for a Remote Support Consultant to join our Smart Construction team in Wacol.

In this role, you’ll be providing remote support, guidance, and technical advice for infrastructure site, machine, positioning, and digital technologies – helping both Komatsu customers and internal staff stay up and running. You may also jump in to assist Smart Construction Technology Advisors with calibrations and on-site support where needed.

This is a critical support role with direct impact – you’ll be working with Dantotsu (unique and unrivalled) technologies at the Gemba (“the real place” – customer sites) and helping to keep Komatsu ahead of the game in construction innovation.

What You’ll Do:

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical support for construction technologies across multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and equipment issues.
• Assist with calibrations, proof of concept testing, UAT, and internal technology validation.
• Provide expert guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Be a key part of product launches, commercialisation, and ongoing support.

About You / Requirements

• Solid background in technical support (3+ years’ experience).
• Strong knowledge of construction and positioning technologies.
• Good technical understanding of the Komatsu product range.
• Excellent communicator – able to explain complex tech to users at all levels.
• Team-first attitude with a willingness to support on-site where needed.
• Experience with distributed products and remote troubleshooting.
• Expertise in both mainframe and personal computing systems.
• Surveying or Engineering qualifications are highly regarded.
• Experience with aftermarket construction technologies is a strong plus.
