FIFO from Perth to Fortescue's Pilbara operations.

Roster

8 days on, 6 days off (FIFO)

Fortescue is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Reliability Engineers interested in upcoming opportunities within our Mobile Maintenance teams across our Pilbara operations.

We're building a talent pool for multiple upcoming positions across the following disciplines:

Reliability Engineers – Haul Trucks
Reliability Engineers – Diggers & Drills

These FIFO roles provide the opportunity to work with industry-leading equipment while driving asset reliability, performance and continuous improvement across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Drive equipment reliability and asset performance through data-driven analysis.
Identify reliability improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
Analyse equipment failures, trends and defect history to minimise downtime.
Lead and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations.
Develop maintenance strategies that optimise asset performance and lifecycle costs.
Partner with Maintenance, Operations and Planning teams to deliver reliability improvements.
Monitor KPIs and recommend initiatives to improve equipment availability and maintenance effectiveness.
Support continuous improvement across the mobile maintenance fleet.

Qualifications & Experience

You will ideally have:

A degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent).
Reliability Engineering experience within mining, heavy industry or a similar environment.
Experience supporting Haul Trucks and/or Diggers & Drills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret maintenance and equipment performance data.
Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis and implementing reliability improvement initiatives.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
SAP experience and knowledge of reliability methodologies will be highly regarded.
