Refrigeration Technician

About the Role

Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Install, service and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment
• Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics on refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Inspect, test and commission refrigeration equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Maintain accurate service records and reporting documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and supervisors
• Participate in shutdowns, maintenance campaigns and project works as required
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship

About You

• Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Current ARCtick / Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Strong refrigeration/HVAC maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Strong safety focus
• Electrical Licence, White Card, Working at Heights, EWP, First Aid/CPR, LVR/CPR and Confined Space highly regarded
• Experience within industrial, mining, manufacturing or large commercial environments will be highly regarded.
