Recruitment Specialists - NSW Operations

Mader is continuing to grow, and due to business growth and an internal restructure for the new financial year, we’re looking to add an additional Recruitment Specialist to our NSW Operations team.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Hamilton, Brisbane. Our recruitment team works closely together day-to-day, and the collaboration, support and momentum that comes from being in the office is a big part of what makes the team successful.

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end recruitment across our NSW mining operations, managing high-volume trade recruitment while building strong relationships with candidates, leaders and internal stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone who is confident, proactive, organised and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Someone who can build rapport easily, back themselves and genuinely enjoys recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end recruitment across NSW Operations
• Managing high-volume blue-collar recruitment campaigns
• Conducting phone screens, face-to-face and video interviews
• Advertising roles across multiple platforms including Seek, LinkedIn and Indeed
• Proactively sourcing passive candidates through talent searches, referrals and networking
• Building and maintaining candidate pipelines across NSW mining regions
• Supporting hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process
• Managing employment offers, onboarding and candidate aftercare
• Assisting with recruitment initiatives, site visits and industry events

Skills & Experience

• Previous recruitment experience preferred
• Blue-collar or high-volume recruitment experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Experience using PageUp advantageous but not essential
