Job description:

We are actively seeking Experienced Raise bore Drillersto join us within the Barminco Vertical Development Team. This is a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster across various sites.Operators are responsible for the construction of ventilation raises, escape ways, ore passes, stope slots and other service-related excavations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make sure that the relevant Safety, Mining and other statutory Codes and Regulations are followed.
• Reads and accurately follows mine instruction plans with skill and precision ensuring holes are drilled to design line, gradient, and profile.
• Ensuring inspections and maintenance is carried out on all equipment before use.
• Set up and troubleshoot onRaise Bore RHINO HM100 utilising the new technology.
• Construction of ventilation raises, escape ways, ore passes, stope slots and other service-related excavations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Raise Bore Operator with Rhino experience.
• Manual C Class driver’s license.
• First Aid Certificate, or willing to obtain.
• Dogging Certificate, or willing to obtain.
• Working at Heights, or willing to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to meet all site access requirements which includes a full pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and be able to provide a current National Police Certificate.
