Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on the Brockman Syncline Project in the Pilbara. Working within our Engineering Construction division, you'll play a key role in supporting commercial and project delivery outcomes across a major SMP construction project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team with long-term project opportunities across our business. You will provide commercial support throughout project execution, ensuring accurate measurement, progress verification, cost control and contract administration while working closely with project, engineering and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and validate quantity measurements and re-measure activities.
• Verify weekly and monthly progress claims and payment applications.
• Conduct site inspections and walk-downs to confirm completed works.
• Support cost forecasting, budgeting and earned value reporting.
• Assist with variation management, claims and commercial correspondence.
• Review subcontractor submissions and maintain accurate commercial records.
• Support procurement, tender evaluations and contract administration activities.

What you’ll bring

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within mining, oil & gas or major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial processes including progress claims, re-measure, variations and contract administration.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience working across SMP, E&I and/or Civil construction scopes.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and commercial systems such as CostX, Power BI, Aconex or similar is advantageous.
