Monadelphous is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Lead to support major outage works in the power generation sector, with a strong focus on Generator and Turbine Maintenance.

This position will initially be office-based in Brisbane, supporting the planning phase prior to site mobilisation:

Planning phase: Commencing end-May, Brisbane office, working Monday to Friday.

Execution Phase: Mobilise to site mid-June, working 2/2 roster.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage quality assurance and quality control activities for Turbine & Generator outage works.
• Review, approve, and monitor ITPs, quality plans, inspection records, and test results specific to turbine and generator activities.
• Coordinate NDE requirements with OEMs.
• Provide on site quality surveillance of OEMs and contractors during disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, OEM requirements, and site quality systems.
• Identify quality issues, non conformances, and deviations; manage NCRs and corrective actions through to close out.
• Interface closely with Project Engineers, outage management, contractors, and OEM representatives.
• Support hold points, witness points, and final acceptance sign offs.
• Contribute to commissioning readiness, punch list clearance, and quality handover documentation.
• Provide quality reporting and input into outage lessons learned.

What you will bring

• Degree qualified in Engineering or relevant technical discipline, or equivalent quality experience.
• Strong background in quality management within heavy industrial, power generation, or similar environments.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Turbine & Generator overhauls/outages.
• Solid understanding of rotating equipment, critical tolerances, inspection techniques, and testing requirements.
• Experience managing OEM and contractor quality performance during outages or shutdowns.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection documentation, and traceability requirements.
• High attention to detail with a strong site presence
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
