Monadelphous is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our Eastern Region team based in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Eastern Region Quality & Welding Manager, you will play a key role in driving quality excellence across our projects and maintenance operations, with a strong focus on systems assurance, continuous improvement, and NDT governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continual improvement of Monadelphous' Quality Management System across the Eastern Region.
• Provide quality assurance support across multidisciplinary projects including civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
• Manage systems assurance activities, quality audits, and compliance reviews.
• Support NDT assurance programs and laboratory certification processes.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and close-out activities.
• Develop and review quality documentation including Work Packs, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Inspection & Test Records (ITRs).
• Promote quality awareness and foster a culture of continuous improvement across project and operational teams.

What you will bring

• Experience within the energy, mining, metalliferous, or resources sectors, working across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Engineering degree with eligibility to obtain RPEQ, supported by at least five years' project or maintenance experience.
• IIW International Welding Engineer Diploma highly regarded.
• Internal or Lead Auditor qualification with demonstrated audit experience.
• Quality certifications such as AOQ Certified Quality Practitioner or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer will be highly regarded.
• Proven experience in NDT assurance and laboratory certification processes.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, audits, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
• Experience leading root cause investigations and managing corrective action processes.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to quality improvement.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.
