Short Description

WorkPac are seeking experienced Pre-Strip Operators for ongoing opportunities at BMA's Peak Downs Mine. These roles offer excellent rates, weekly bonus potential, and the opportunity to work within one of the Bowen Basin's leading mining operations.

About Our Client

BMA is Australia's largest producer of seaborne metallurgical coal, operating world-class mines throughout the Bowen Basin. Peak Downs Mine is a large-scale operation renowned for its strong safety culture, modern equipment fleet, and operational excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating CAT 797 and Liebherr T282 haul trucks in a pre-strip environment
• Willing to consider CAT 793 as long as you have electric rope shovel loading experience
• Working safely around rope shovels
• Conducting pre-start inspections and equipment checks
• Following site safety procedures and production requirements
• Contributing to a high-performing production team

What You Will Need

• 2 years experience operating CAT 797 or Liebherr T282 haul trucks
• Willing to consider CAT 793 as long as you have electric rope shovel loading experience
• Previous experience being loaded by shovels in a production mining environment
• Demonstrated experience with both single-side and double-side loading operations
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights
