The Role

Electrician – Projects, Installations & Communications (FIFO | 8:6 Days Only) Tier 1 Iron Ore Site | Western Australia.

Looking to move into FIFO while staying hands-on with installation and project work? We’re seeking a licensed Electrician with strong installations and communications experience to join a Fixed Plant Maintenance team on a Tier 1 iron ore operation. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to step into mining without being locked into repetitive maintenance work.

The Role

• Working within the Fixed Plant team, you will deliver small projects and installation works, including:
• Powering up site infrastructure
• Installation of GPOs and general electrical systems
• Supporting a wide range of electrical upgrades and site improvements
• Assisting and mentoring apprentices on site

This is a broad, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety and getting projects completed.

What We’re Looking For

• WA Licensed Electrician
• Strong background in installations / construction / commercial electrical
• Experience with communications and suitable License (ACMA endorsement)
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
• Interest in transitioning into or building on FIFO experience

This role is particularly well suited to electricians from commercial or construction backgrounds looking to break into mining in a practical, project-focused position.
