Chandler Macleod is partnering with a leading resources organisation to support a major WA energy development. This is an owner’s team / client-side project leadership role focused on governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight as the project progresses through engineering studies, approvals and execution readiness.

About the Role

Location: Perth CBD (On-site) Contract Duration: Initial 3-month contract with strong chance of extension Hours: Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week Start Date: ASAP / short notice preferred Rate: Competitive hourly rate + super (based on experience)

This is an  owner’s team / client-side project leadership role focused on governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight as the project progresses through engineering studies, approvals and execution readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project leadership across development and delivery activities
• Drive governance, reporting, and project controls
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external contractors/consultants
• Support schedule, budget, risk and commercial management
• Lead stakeholder engagement with partners, regulators and internal teams
• Champion safe delivery and effective risk management

What you bring

• Proven project management background in  energy, LNG, gas, resources or major infrastructure
• Strong understanding of  FEED, approvals pathways, and FID readiness
• High-level stakeholder management and communication skills
• Contract/commercial awareness and disciplined risk management
• Must have full working rights to work in Australia and be based in Perth, WA
