Our Tier 1 Mining Client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of site infrastructure packages supporting a major decarbonisation program within the resources sector.
Roster: 5/2 Perth based
Start date: Mid Sept 2026
Duration: approx. 12 months - depending on client requirements
Pay Rate: $810.00 p/d + Super depending on experience

About the Role
Based in Perth, you will take ownership of assigned facility projects from initiation through engineering, procurement and construction to commissioning handover. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors and consultants while maintaining a strong focus on safety, schedule, cost, quality and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and facility packages from initiation through to commissioning and handover.
- Establish clear project scopes, deliverables, boundaries, assumptions and execution plans.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, operations and commissioning interfaces.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, expenditure and overall commercial performance.
- Lead change management across scope, cost and schedule.
- Manage contractor performance, progress, variations and contractual obligations.
- Monitor project schedules, critical path activities and key milestones.
- Identify project risks, constraints and emerging delivery issues and implement mitigation or recovery plans.
- Provide accurate reporting across safety, cost, schedule, risk and overall project performance.
- Lead engagement with contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong focus on HSE requirements and proactive management of critical project risks.
Required Experience
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience delivering major infrastructure, mining, industrial or energy projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full lifecycle - engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Proven experience delivering electrical infrastructure, renewable energy or mining infrastructure projects.
- Strong commercial capability covering budgets, forecasting, change management, contract administration and contractor claims.
- Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, critical paths and delivery risks.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and influence outcomes across complex project environments.
