Job Description

Stellar Maintenance is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Workshop Rebuilds to lead underground mining equipment rebuild projects in our clients growing workshop operations in Wanneroo.

This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, solid project management capability, and experience coordinating workshop rebuilds from scope through to commissioning.

Working closely with workshop leadership, trades teams and clients, you will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, on budget and to OEM standards.

Daily Duties:

  • Manage rebuild projects from quote and scope through to commissioning
  • Develop project schedules, timelines and labour plans
  • Coordinate workshop resources across multiple rebuilds
  • Manage procurement and track long lead items
  • Monitor project budgets, variations and client approvals
  • Provide regular progress updates to clients
  • Ensure rebuilds meet OEM specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain strong safety and compliance standards
  • Drive continuous improvement across workshop rebuild operations

What we're looking for:

  • Trade qualified HD / Plant Mechanic
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines and client expectations
  • Proven experience managing mechanical rebuild projects
  • Underground mining equipment experience highly desirable
  • Experience with Sandvik and/or Epiroc fleets advantageous
  • Safety-focused with a high attention to detail
  • Current WA Driver’s Licence
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capability
