Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading mining site projects team delivering a portfolio of brownfield capital works within a live operational fixed plant environment in the Pilbara.
About the Role
This is a FIFO site-based role responsible for delivering a range of asset replacements, plant upgrades, safety initiatives, reliability improvements and structural remediation projects.
You will manage projects end-to-end across the full lifecycle - from concept and planning through procurement, execution, commissioning and close-out - ensuring delivery is safe, compliant, and aligned with production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent brownfield projects in an operating mining environment
- Lead end-to-end project delivery including scope, planning, execution and handover
- Coordinate procurement activities and contractor mobilisation
- Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules and cost controls
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and site standards
- Engage with operations, maintenance, engineering and external contractors
- Drive execution readiness and minimise impact to production
- Deliver clear reporting on progress, risks, cost and schedule performance
- Conduct project close-out, lessons learned and vendor performance reviews
About You / Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in Project Management within mining, resources or heavy industry
- Background in Mechanical, Structural, SMP or Civil projects (essential)
- Strong experience in brownfield / live plant environments
- Exposure to shutdowns, maintenance campaigns or sustaining capital works
- Strong stakeholder management across operations and contractor groups
- Highly process-driven, structured and detail-oriented
- Strong understanding of project controls (budgeting, scheduling, forecasting)
- Proficient in MS Project and SAP (or similar systems)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced site environment
- Strong commitment to safety leadership and compliance

- Roster: 8/6 OR 4/3 roster FIFO from Perth
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: approx. 6 months - depending on client requirements
- Pay Rate: $85.00 p/h + Super depending on experience
