Project Lead - Senior Civil Design

Take the lead on a major tailings infrastructure program, driving the design, planning and governance of annual wall raise works for a critical operational asset.

Working within a high-performing Sustaining Capital team, you'll provide technical leadership across large-scale earthworks, tailings and water infrastructure projects, managing design consultants, coordinating technical studies, and developing long-term asset strategies that support ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual wall raise design development and delivery.
• Manage engineering consultants, design scope, schedule and performance.
• Develop rolling 5-year infrastructure and asset strategies.
• Coordinate geotechnical investigations, technical studies and assurance activities.
• Support capital planning, project studies and funding submissions.
• Drive collaboration across operations, engineering and project delivery teams.
• Manage technical risk, design governance and constructability outcomes.

About You / Requirements

• Degree qualified Civil Engineer.
• Significant experience across tailings, dams, mining infrastructure or large-scale earthworks projects.
• Strong background leading multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
• Experience with capital project planning, risk management and technical assurance.
• RPEQ or equivalent highly regarded.
