About the Role

UGL Utilities Operations & Maintenance is seeking an experienced Project Lead – Distribution (Glove & Barrier) to lead multiple field crews delivering overhead distribution works across the AusNet network. This is a hands-on field leadership role, accountable for the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of works, leading Glove & Barrier Lineworker crews across a structured 10&4 roster while maintaining strong relationships with AusNet and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple Glove & Barrier Lineworker crews delivering overhead distribution works
• Provide strong on-site leadership across a 10 & 4 roster
• Champion UGL’s One HSE Culture with visible, consistent safety leadership
• Review and approve work packs, SWMS, job plans and network documentation
• Liaise with AusNet representatives, control room and planning teams

About You

• Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead

• Current Victorian Electrical Licence

• Demonstrated experience leading crews on distribution networks

• Strong knowledge of Glove & Barrier work practices, switching and access permits

• Calm, organised and safety-focused leader with strong communication skills
