Project Engineer/Manager

About the Company

Our client is a leading organisation delivering a range of site infrastructure and improvement projects across its operations. With a strong pipeline of work and multiple projects underway, they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer or Project Manager to support project delivery and contractor management.

About the Role

Reporting into the project team, you will be responsible for managing several infrastructure and upgrade projects, including building modifications, facilities upgrades, and storage installations. You will oversee contractors, coordinate project activities, manage stakeholders, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within scope. Key projects include facility upgrades, building fit-outs, utility installations, and associated civil and mechanical works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage several infrastructure and upgrade projects, including building modifications, facilities upgrades, and storage installations.
• Oversee contractors, coordinate project activities, manage stakeholders, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.
• Lead project execution with civil and mechanical works, facility upgrades, building fit-outs, and utility installations.

About You / Requirements

• Mechanical or Civil Engineering qualification OR 5+ years experience as a Project Manager on mechanical or civil projects.
• Demonstrated project management and contractor management experience.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, construction, maintenance, or site improvement projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and project schedules.
• Strong understanding of site services, construction works, and project execution in a mining or industrial environment.
