About You

  • Some exposure to reading or developing technical documents such as:
    • Single line diagrams

    • Cable schedules
    • Power system studies

  • Willingness to work with various stakeholders including construction supervision team, design consultants, vendors and contractors
  • Determination and drive to deliver projects as per scope, cost and schedule

If you don’t have experience in all of these areas yet, that’s okay — we’ll support you to build these skills.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with planning and delivering capital projects safely and efficiently
  • Help ensure projects stay on track with scope, schedule, budget and quality
  • Work with project and operations teams to coordinate activities
  • Monitor and report on project progress and key performance indicators
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets and Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering OR relevant graduate experience
  • Exposure to mining, resources or heavy industry (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in installation, commissioning or maintenance of EIC systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with SAP, MS Project or Primavera is a bonus, not a requirement

Please note this is a 5/2 or 9 day fortnight residential role in Orange NSW. The successful applicant will have unrestricted working rights.
