About the Role
Reporting to the Project Superintendent, you will manage engineering projects from concept through to execution and handover, supporting both underground and surface operations.
Role Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of capital and sustaining projects across site.
- Developing project scopes, schedules, budgets and execution plans.
- Coordinating internal stakeholders, contractors and consultants.
- Monitoring project performance and ensuring milestone achievement.
- Managing project risks, opportunities and change processes.
- Preparing technical documentation, engineering reports and project updates.
- Supporting procurement activities, contract administration and contractor management.
- Ensuring compliance with site standards, statutory requirements and engineering best practice.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, environmental performance and operational excellence.
About You / Requirements
You are a proactive engineering professional with strong project delivery experience and a passion for solving complex challenges in an operational environment. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Mining or related discipline).
- Experience delivering engineering or capital projects within mining, heavy industry, resources or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong project planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and project resources.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Sound understanding of project management principles and risk management practices.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
