Monadelphous is seeking a motivated and driven Project Engineer to join our operations team in a permanent, full-time position based in Toowoomba.
Supporting a long-term industrial maintenance and operations contract, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with a high-performing site team and build strong relationships with a key client. Working Monday to Friday, with approximately one Saturday per month, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.
This position is suited to candidates who are currently based in Toowoomba.

About the Role
Monadelphous is seeking a motivated and driven Project Engineer to join our operations team in a permanent, full-time position based in Toowoomba. Supporting a long-term industrial maintenance and operations contract, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with a high-performing site team and build strong relationships with a key client. Working Monday to Friday, with approximately one Saturday per month, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support key project functions including Quality, Technical, Planning and Commercial activities.
- Assist in the development and management of project schedules, budgets and execution plans.
- Prepare and maintain project reporting, data and commercial documentation.
- Support tender preparation and project delivery activities.
- Attend client and contractor meetings, providing practical engineering solutions.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of maintenance and project work while maintaining safety and quality standards.
What you will bring
- Degree qualification in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (Australian recognised).
- Experience working in a site-based engineering role within mining, energy, resources, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Full Australian working rights.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (Australian recognised).
