About the Role

As Project Engineer, you will work closely with project teams, contractors, consultants, and operational stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of dewatering assets and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the delivery of water and dewatering projects
  • Reviewing and providing technical assurance on engineering and construction packages
  • Coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants
  • Driving project schedule improvements and delivery efficiencies
  • Supporting project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
  • Attending and facilitating project planning, risk assessment, progress, and kick-off meetings
  • Ensuring compliance with safety requirements and project management systems
  • Providing clear and effective project reporting and performance updates
  • Interpreting and implementing engineering standards, specifications, and project requirements
  • Supporting the safe execution of construction activities across site and Perth-based teams

About You

To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess:

  • Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Approximately 3–5 years' experience in project engineering or project delivery roles
  • Experience working on mining, infrastructure, water, or dewatering projects
  • Exposure to large-scale multidisciplinary projects within the resources sector
  • Strong understanding of construction and site-based project delivery
  • Experience managing engineering consultants and contractors
  • Commercial awareness, including budgeting and cost control
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
