Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical inputs across engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Support study planning, scheduling, cost tracking and progress reporting.
  • Manage interfaces between project workstreams and study teams.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, meeting packs and study documentation.
  • Maintain action, risk and decision registers.
  • Assist Study Managers with governance, reporting and project coordination activities.
  • Support delivery of studies across the project lifecycle, from Scoping through PFS and FS stages.

About You

  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mining projects or mining studies.
  • Experience supporting Scoping Studies, Pre-Feasibility Studies (PFS) and Feasibility Studies (FS).
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling, cost tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Solid understanding of the mining study lifecycle and stage-gate processes.
  • ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY OR CITIZENSHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA.

Desired Experience

  • Mining industry experience.
  • Exposure to multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Understanding of technical interfaces including mining, geology, geotechnical, metallurgy, infrastructure, approvals, cost and schedule management.
  • Experience working within an owner's team or study environment will be highly regarded.
