About the role:
We havean exciting opportunity for two Project Administrator’s to join our Mining Projects Division in South Australia. The successful candidates will be highly motivated, result driven and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Positions Available:
- As the Site Project Administrator for our Olympic Dam Site, you will be based onsite working an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Adelaide. We will require the successful candidate to be based in South Australia.
- As the Project Administrator for our mining projects team, you will be based at our North Adelaide Office, working Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the project management team across multiple projects
- Prepare and issue tender documentation, purchasing schedules and subcontract agreements.
- Maintain project documentation including drawing registers, contract files and project control registers (RFIs, variations, EOTs).
- Coordinate travel, logistics and onboarding requirements for employees and subcontractors.
- Prepare, compile and submit progress claims, variations, client notices and Operation & Maintenance manuals including As-Built documentation.
- Assess subcontractor and supplier progress claims and assist with invoice processing and payments.
- Support cost control processes including monthly cost reporting, forecasting and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist with procurement activities, subcontractor negotiations and off-site inspections where required.
- Attend and minute meetings and prepare project reports as required
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Maintain strong working relationships with project stakeholders & clients.
- Undertake and Participate in HSE Audits, Inspections and Field Leadership initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
- Strong understanding of the Project lifecycle.
- Contract Administration – Review, negotiation
- Experience with BHP Olympic Dam, Carrapateena & Prominent Hill or other similar mining industry (highly desirable).
- Exposure to, and understanding of, the mining and/or construction industry.
- Contract Administration.
- Current drivers licence.
- Planning and organisational skills to deliver on time.
- Communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining client and subcontractor relationships.
- Experience with MS suite.
- Prior experience with Pronto, Procore, Aconex, Workday and other similar platforms (desirable)
