About the Role
We are seeking a capable and collaborative Project Accountant to support a major decommissioning project based in our Southbank office, Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring effective financial management across a large-scale and technically complex project, partnering closely with project and commercial teams to deliver accurate reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, monitor and analyse project financials, including budgets, forecasts and cost tracking
- Partner with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting, including variance analysis
- Support project governance through compliance with financial controls and processes
- Assist in financial planning, cash flow management and cost control initiatives
About you
- Experience in a project accounting or finance role, ideally within construction, engineering or infrastructure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Collaborative approach with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams
- Effective communication skills, able to explain financial information clearly
- Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
