Our client is an international manufacturer and supplier of plasterboard products to the construction and building industry. They are currently seeking an additional Production Worker to join their Hazelmere site on an ongoing basis.  

About the role...
The main duties of this role will include monitoring and operating the fixed plant machinery within a factory environment including quality control and meeting production deadlines. This will predominately be working on their cornice line.   

The position will commence as an ongoing casual role with the view of permanency in the future. Mon-Fri, 8-12 hour shifts switching from 1 week of days to 1 week of afternoons then 1 week of nights.

(Whilst training you will start off on day shift only) 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need the following:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or fixed plant environment
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • Able to pass a drug & alcohol screen & pre-employment medical
  • Forklift ticket
  • Be Australian permanent resident with full working rights

Pay Rates & Shift Pattern
Your pay rate for the first 8-hours worked on day shift is $37.46 p/h, next 2 hours $56.19 p/hr and the remaining 2 hours at $74.92 p/h.

Afternoons - $43.08 + penalties p/h. 

Nights $44.02 + penalties p/h.
