Job Description
About the role
- Safely and efficiently drill production, service and cable holes to meet set production targets.
- Operate Sandvik Solo and Epiroc Simba mobile, articulated drill rigs underground.
- Position equipment underground.
- Complete drilling activities once connected to services.
- Opportunity to join a high-performing underground team at a long-life operation.
About you
- Demonstrated experience operating long-hole / production drills
- Minimum 3 years’ underground mining experience
- Current competencies on Sandvik Solo and/or Epiroc Simba drills
- Strong safety focus with a solid understanding of JSEA systems
- Mechanical aptitude and strong observation skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a crew
- Current manual C-class driver’s licence
- Supervisory experience is advantageous but not essential.
