Your new role

As Product Owner, you will lead the development of a key digital product focused on optimising underground mining operations. This role is centred on building a foundational product that improves visibility, identifies constraints and enables smarter, data-driven decision-making across a highly complex operational environment. You will work closely with frontline teams, stakeholders and technical specialists to define the product vision, understand the current state, identify gaps and incrementally deliver value. Leveraging agile methodologies, you will prioritise delivery, manage the backlog and guide the team through ambiguity to create practical, high-impact solutions. A key part of the role involves regular site engagement, ensuring the product is grounded in real-world challenges and delivers meaningful outcomes for end users.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or senior Business Analyst in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery and iterative value creation
• Experience working with data-driven products, including visualisation and integration
• Ability to define product vision, roadmap and backlog in ambiguous environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with operational or frontline teams
• Experience in mining, industrial, logistics or similarly complex environments (advantageous)
• Background in large organisations or high-growth/start-up environments delivering new products (highly regarded)
• Ability to balance scope, time, resources and business priorities
