Procurement Lead

Your new role

You will come armed with extensive '"best practice" knowledge, and utilise that and your market knowledge to further design, develop and implement an optimal procurement process for the organisation's operations. This includes identifying key functionality requirements across various business units, proposing ideal frameworks for supplier assessments and risk management strategies, education and implementation of the policies, and contract management of current and future supplier agreements. You will also seek opportunities for cost improvements, benchmarking and diversification of the supplier pool. These requirements stretch across both operational and project environments.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in greenfield setup, change management or process improvement roles within Procurement / Supply Chain, ideally with an operational background
• Working knowledge of civil engineering and construction categories
• Strong presentation / convincing skills and experience interfacing with C-Suite / Board Members
• Able to "think out of the box" and provide flexible alternatives
