Program Details
We’re inviting students from Process Engineering disciplines to join us in roles across our Iron Ore business. Applicants must be currently studying either:

• Chemical, Process, Industrial Chemistry and/or Metallurgical Engineering degrees
• Bachelor of Applied Science (Extractive Metallurgy)

Our Intern Program offers you the chance to help shape Rio Tinto from within. The program provides hands-on experience, with the potential to secure a graduate position upon completion.

Eligibility

• Currently in penultimate year or students in 2nd or 3rd year.
• Right to work in Australia or New Zealand (citizens, permanent residents, student or postgraduate work visa holders).
• Must be available for FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) and Perth-based opportunities.
