About the Role
12th June, 2026 Pearl Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing business based in Perth's southeastern suburbs.
This opportunity would suit someone with strong brake press experience who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality components and is confident working within a busy workshop environment.
Press Brake Operator Cannington Location Dayshift or Nightshift Available Days: $62.50 hr + Super Nights: $75.00 hr + Super Overtime available Temp to Perm Opportunity
What will the role see you responsible for?
- Following drawings, BOMs and job instructions to complete work accurately
- Setting machinery for each job and making minor adjustments where required
- Operating LVD 170 tonne Brake Press machinery to form metal components
Running Tube Laser and Flat Bed Laser machinery as required Completing rolling, bending and general machine operation duties - Checking measurements during production to ensure parts are correct
- Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Preparing finished jobs for packing or dispatch
- Working with minimal supervision while supporting the wider workshop team
What do you require to be successful for this position?
- Minimum 2 years' experience setting and operating Press Brake machinery in a similar manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings and job sheets
- Strong attention to detail with a reliable and safety-focused approach
Ability to work autonomously, communicate clearly and solve problems as required - Forklift licence (advantageous)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
- Full working rights in Australia
