The Opportunity

The Portfolio Technical Lead- Geotechnical will lead technical engineering function across underground and open pit geotechnical teams. Drive strategic technical direction, governance, and mentoring to ensure delivery of leading practice designs, compliance with geotechnical standards, and effective risk management across all operational and project sites. Champion innovation, continuous improvement as you shape the future of geotechnical engineering at MinRes.

What is required?

Tertiary qualification in Civil, Geological Engineering, Engineering Geology or or related technical discipline.
Extensive experience in a similar leadership role in mining Geotechnical Engineering, including leading multi-disciplinary geotechnical teams.
Proven track record in both open pit and underground geotechnical engineering.
Strong governance and technical assurance experience.
Expert capability in geotechnical design, hazard management, and monitoring systems.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, fostering excellence and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
