About the Role
Your new role
We are currently seeking an experienced Plumber with water treatment experience to join the team on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Brisbane or Townsville. Your responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair site plumbing systems including potable water, sewer, and drainage
- Operate and monitor water treatment systems (filtration, dosing, and disinfection)
- Conduct water sampling and testing to ensure compliance with site and environmental standards
- Maintain pumps, pipelines, valves, tanks, and associated infrastructure
- Perform installations, upgrades, and repairs across camp facilities and site infrastructure
- Carry out preventative maintenance and fault finding to minimise downtime
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency plumbing issues
- Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and site stakeholders
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- QLD Plumbing Trade Certificate (essential)
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Experience with water treatment systems (essential)
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, installations, and safety standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Ability to work both independently and within a facilities management environment
