Your new role

We are currently seeking an experienced Plumber with water treatment experience to join the team on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Brisbane or Townsville. Your responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair site plumbing systems including potable water, sewer, and drainage
• Operate and monitor water treatment systems (filtration, dosing, and disinfection)
• Conduct water sampling and testing to ensure compliance with site and environmental standards
• Maintain pumps, pipelines, valves, tanks, and associated infrastructure
• Perform installations, upgrades, and repairs across camp facilities and site infrastructure
• Carry out preventative maintenance and fault finding to minimise downtime
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency plumbing issues
• Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and site stakeholders

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• QLD Plumbing Trade Certificate (essential)
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Experience with water treatment systems (essential)
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, installations, and safety standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Ability to work both independently and within a facilities management environment
