The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Excavator and Grader Plant Operators with a background in NPI works for our Construction Projects working on a 3/1 roster FIFO from Perth.

Safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment on pipeline installation projects. Works include:

  • Trench excavation for underground pipeline installation.
  • Pipe handling, lowering and placement (lower lay).
  • Backfilling and trench reinstatement.
  • Final trim and finishing works.
  • General labouring with flange assembly and pit installations.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience operating excavators on pipeline and/or drainage projects.
  • Experience operating 8T – 36T excavators, including final trim capability.
  • Experience handling pipe using excavators and IT Wheel Loaders.
  • Strong understanding of trenching, bedding, and backfilling procedures

Tickets and Licenses

  • National Recognition of Training for Excavator, Grader, IT Loader, Skid Steer.
  • HR Licence - desirable
  • Experience operating Tip Trucks and Water Carts - desirable
