Plant Mechanic - Final Drives

Macmahon are looking for Plant Mechanics to join the Component Rebuilds team, rebuilding final drives at our Perth Workshop.

The Workshop undertakes a range of tasks to manage Macmahon’s fleet of equipment, as well as maintenance projects for external clients. The workshop is undercover and houses the rebuild workshop, quarantine, sandblast and paint shop, component workshop and warehouse store.

About the role
•    Perth Airport Based I Fulltime permanent position
•    Highly competitive rates I Annual bonus I Leave/Public Holiday Loading I Super paid on all hours worked
•    Own the whole process; strip, clean, re assemble final drives
•    Experience fault finding, stripping, cleaning and inspection of components

About you
•    Relevant Trade Qualification
•    Experience in overhauling Final Drives
•    Experience overhauling CAT OHT components in accordance with OEM guidelines
•    Experience fault finding, stripping, cleaning and inspection of components
