Plant Mechanic – Cadia Mine

WesTrac Cadia is seeking experienced Plant Mechanics to join their team.

Working from a customer site in Cadia, our Plant Mechanics are responsible for completing maintenance & repairs on a large variety of CAT machines including mining trucks, dozers, excavators and off-highway trucks. This role involves ensuring all repairs, maintenance tasks and inspections are completed to meet CAT standards, whilst ensuring safety standards are met and exceeded.

Roster and Remuneration

• Roster: 7/7 (7 days on, 7 off, 7 nights on, 7 off)
• 12.5 hour shifts
• Hourly figures from $51.95 + $77.93 OT + Super

Desired Skills & Experience

• Australia recognised Mechanical Trade qualification
• Previous mine site experience (underground experience desirable)
• Unrestricted Drivers Licence
• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar OEM
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
