Planning Coordinator
Linkforce
Job Description
About Linkforce
Linkforce is a privately owned, people-first contractor with operational hubs across Australia. Since 2007, we have delivered shutdown, maintenance, and project services to major clients in the mining, infrastructure, energy, telecommunications, and defence sectors. We operate across key regions including the Pilbara, Goldfields, Coastal, Northern Territory and Queensland, supporting a wide range of projects and clients. With a reputation for reliability, safety, and performance, Linkforce continues to grow as a trusted partner in some of Australia’s most critical industries.
The Role
We are seeking a Planning & Mobilisation Coordinator who’s eager to learn, brings a great attitude, and thrives in a fast moving environment. Experience is a bonus — but not a deal breaker. What matters most is your willingness to grow, stay resilient through change, and contribute to a vibrant, supportive team culture.
Based in our Perth CBD Head Office, this role operates on an 8:6 roster (Wednesday–Wednesday) with the ability to work from home up to 50% of your swing once you’re confidently trained.
As a Planning & Mobilisation Coordinator, you’ll own the full end to end process — from the initial request right through to mobilisation. It’s a role with real autonomy, where your organisation, problem solving skills and attention to detail will directly influence successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
As a Planning & Mobilisation Coordinator, you will:
- Create, update & maintain job builds in our bespoke planning system
- Coordinate end-to-end mobilisation plans across multiple projects & shutdowns
- Coordinate and book flights, travel and accommodation
- Allocate personnel to create efficient schedules aligned with KPI targets
- Ensure training, qualifications and inductions meet company, client and site requirements
- Initiate & execute mobilisation plans for both personnel & assets
- Process timesheets accurately
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal/external stakeholders
What You'll Need
- Experience in a similar planning, mobilisation, or coordination role (or a transferable skillset)
- Exposure to mining systems such as ERMS, SERKO, SAMs, Pegasus & Pronto (highly advantageous but not essential)
- Knowledge of shutdown processes or production plant environments (highly advantageous)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities
- A highly organised, proactive and collaborative working style
- Agility and adaptability — able to respond quickly to changing operational needs
- Buoyancy and resilience — staying positive, composed and solutions focused under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A high level of attention to detail, particularly when managing data, compliance and scheduling
- Strong analytical thinking and a willingness to bring fresh ideas
- Perth-based with unrestricted Australian working rights
What We Offer
- Competitive Remuneration Package – Fortnightly pay cycle
- Flexible Work Arrangements – Hybrid work-from-home opportunities
- Modern CBD Office – With state-of-the-art facilities, including free coffee machines, gym membership including pool, sauna and steam room, and premium end-of-trip facilities: showers, bike racks, ironing stations.
- Onboarding & Training – Supportive new starter program to set you up for success
- Site Engagement – Opportunity to visit sites and connect directly with your teams
- Exclusive Offers & Discounts – Employee-only deals and savings
- Recognition Awards – Celebrating service milestones and peer-nominated achievements
