Protech are looking for experienced Pipefitters to perform work with our client on a 20:8 roster near Karratha.
ABOUT THE ROLE

• Penalty pay rates
• 20:8 FIFo Roster working 10 hour days
• Perm directly with the project contractor with long-term project opportunities available
• Flexible start dates on offer
• Point of Hire is Perth or Karratha only

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabrication and installation of various sizes of pipework consisting of a range of exotic materials and associated piping components
• Cut, level and fit up pipes in accordance with isometric drawings
• Assemble pipe spools including all valves and associated instruments
• Work with other disciplines including riggers to position and erect pipes of various sizes

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Construction White/Blue Card
• Current Driver’s License
• BMW Trade Cert
• Relevant Trade Certificate and current High Risk Work License (EWP)
• Working at Height, Confined Space and Gas test Atmospheres (must be current within the last 2 years).
• Previous experience working FIFO/Mining/Construction/Projects would be an advantage
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
• Full Working Rights in Australia
• Experience working with Carbon Steel pipe with Inconel cladding
• Experience working with compressor hook-up piping
• Experience working on the installation of risers and flowline
