Our People Team plays a key role in supporting our Macmahon Winning Formula. You’ll work with skilled people who care about doing things the right way and contributing to our teams’ success.
About the Role
In this hands-on People Officer role, you will be at the heart of the People Operations team, supporting key administrative activities. Your work will directly contribute to delivering our shared People strategy and driving team success.
Responsibilities
- Support the People team with transactional activities, including data management, correspondence, and administrative tasks to deliver People initiatives.
- Provide timely and accurate advice to employees and leaders on People policies, procedures, and systems.
- Draft and maintain documentation, including process manuals and presentation materials to support implementation.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting (internal and external).
- Manage visa processes in liaison with migration consultant(s).
- Coordinate People administration including exit interviews, employment letters, disciplinary documentation and employee record maintenance.
- Support leaders with position descriptions and provide People systems support.
- Facilitate People presentations and coordinate training initiatives as required.
- Assist with maintaining and updating People policies and procedure as required.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in HR or a related field or currently working towards one.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail, strong time‑management, and the ability to handle competing priorities.
- Experience with SuccessFactors is beneficial (training provided if required).
Role Details
- Location: Macmahon Head Office – Perth (Near T2)
- Roster: 5:2/Monday to Friday
