About the Role

You will be part of a high‑performing team; this role involves protective coating and structural maintenance works at a coastal industrial site, with the option to get involved in shutdowns. This is a local Mackay/Sarina opportunity offering long‑term security and lifestyle balance.

The Work

• Blasting and painting of steel infrastructure and structures
• Setting up work areas to safely execute tasks
• Steel fabrication and coating to site specifications
• Delivering quality work while maintaining safety and compliance standards

What We7re After

• Experience in industrial painting and blasting (Trade qualification desirable)
• 2 + years abrasive blasting and painting experience (highly regarded)
• Familiar with epoxy coatings application including airless spray pump and conventional spray experience
• Ports or Mining Experience (desirable)
• Shutdown experience (highly regarded)
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Working at Heights ticket or willingness to obtain
• Ability to obtain an MSIC
• Current drivers licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets (desirable)
• Mackay or Sarina resident (no accommodation provided)
