About the Company:
Our client, a leading US and Australian manufacturer and supplier to the mining industry is seeking an experienced Painter Blaster to join their team in Welshpool. Specialising in manufacturing reverse circulation drills which are used for exploration, this company also provides rebuilds, maintenance and servicing.

About the Role:
You will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Abrasive blasting
  • Mechanical and hand preparation using orbital sanders
  • Application of coatings via brush, roller, and airless spray
  • Touch-up work and remediation based on inspection outcomes

To be successful in this position you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • The physical capability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen (including the ability to climb stairs and ladders)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current drivers license and vehicle to get to and fro work
  • Current Forklift license

Remuneration & Hours:

  • $50.00 - $55.00 p/h Flat Rate + super
  • Mon - Fri; 6:00am - 2:00pm with optional OT
