Paint Blaster - FIFO

Programmed Energy & Resources are looking for an experienced and motivated Paint Blaster to join our team at Agnew Goldfields.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for ongoing FIFO work, a consistent 8:6 roster and dayshift only giving you a great balance between work and life outside of work.

About the role:

As a Paint Blaster at Agnew Goldfields, you will be responsible for:

• Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
• Removing rust, corrosion and old coatings
• Operating blasting equipment
• Preparing and applying industrial protective coatings
• Using airless spray equipment where required
• Completing touch-up and remedial work
• Working safely at heights and in confined spaces where required
• Following site safety and quality procedures

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for experienced Paint Blasters who:

• Minimum 12 months' recent experience in a similar FIFO or local Paint Blasting role
• Hold a current White Card
• Hold the required HRWL
• Can provide a National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months - essential
• Are able to successfully complete all required site inductions
• Can successfully complete a medical and DAS
• Have a strong commitment to safety
• Are reliable, motivated and take pride in their work
• Work well as part of a team
• Nationally accredited Working at Heights and Confined Space - desired
