About the role:
The Production Processing team is currently seeking a Mineral Processing Operator to join them on a 7 Days on, 7 Nights on, 14 Days off Roster based at the Roy Hill Mine Site. Reporting to the Production Processing Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing safe operation of Inload, Outload, Wet Plant, Conveyors and Crushing within the Processing Plant
Duties:
- Operating large scale processing plant equipment, sizer and cone crusher, overland conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, train load out
- Assist in operating and maintaining scrubbing/screening circuit, de-sands and magnetic separators, residue and tailings
- Operating small mobile machinery equipment for clean up activities, including bobcats and loaders
- Conducting thorough plant inspections, assist with minor maintenance duties, escalating asset health and production issues
- Prepare and safely isolate processing plant equipment for handover to the maintenance teams for routine, unplanned and shutdown activities
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience within a Mineral Processing Plant including inflow/outflow, primary and secondary crushing, overland conveyors, stacking/reclaiming, train load out and wet plant
- Demonstrate experience working in a heavy industry and remote environment
- Exposure to simple isolations and group isolations
- Minimum C Class Manual WA Drivers License, HR Drivers License highly desirable
