Operations Manager - Solar & Electrical

About the Company

Our client is one of Perth’s leading dual trade specialists, delivering electrical and plumbing services across commercial, industrial and mining environments. Due to growth, they are seeking a Solar Operations Manager to spearhead the newly created solar department. This is an exciting position, that will see you responsible for growing and maintaining existing client base and internal team.

About the Role

This position will see you responsible for the following, but not limited to;

• Installation of commercial solar PV and battery storage
• Manage the Western Power network connection and metering process end-to-end
• Coordinate structural and roofing interfaces on commercial roof installations
• Ensure all work meets AS/NZS 5033 and relevant WA compliance requirements
• Scope, design, and quote commercial solar jobs
• Establish the systems, workflows, and team needed to scale the division

Requirements

• Proven ability to build internal processes, scale operations and drive growth
• Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
• SAA accreditation (GCBS highly preferred)
• Proven experience delivering commercial solar installations (not just residential)
• Ability to quote and win work independently
• Familiar with trade management software (Simpro or similar)

• Head office location: Osborne Park
• Contract: Full time permanent
• Salary: $120 - $150K + Super (+ bonuses)
