E&I Electrician / Instrumentation Technician

Techforce Personnel is currently seeking experienced E&I Electricians / Instrumentation Technicians to join a large-scale mining project in South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the commissioning & Instrumentation phase on a Copper Processing Plant

• $65.07 per hour + $2.50 per hour site allowance + penalties
• 14:7 FIFO roster
• 6 Months Commissioning project

About the Role

Techforce Personnel is currently seeking experienced E&I Electricians / Instrumentation Technicians to join a large-scale mining project in South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the commissioning & Instrumentation phase on a Copper Processing Plant

Key Responsibilities

• Perform loop checks and functional testing of field instruments, transmitters, and control valves
• Use Trex communicators and other calibration tools to verify instrument configuration and signal integrity
• Support commissioning of control systems, including PLCs and system integrator interfaces
• Troubleshoot instrumentation faults and assist with resolution alongside the commissioning team
• Complete instrumentation-related ITRs within the company’s CCMS
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with site standards and OEM specifications

Tickets/Licenses

• Current Electrical Licence - Mutal SA recognition will be required to gain
• Cert 4 or Cert 3 in Instrumentation (preferred) or strong E&I experience
• Current LVR/CPR
• Working at Heights
• Trade Certificate
• Confined Space (desirable)
• White Card
• NPC - National Police Clerance - Within 6 months
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Previous experience on mining construction and commissioning projects
